The second MOOC session of 2022 started 12 September. On Monday, we totaled almost 7000 new registrations for this session alone, which brings us to 96,200 registrations since we started the MOOCs in 2015.

This session, we planned several webinars with the MOOC Conservation team. The first one took place today and was a major success, with a great number of English-speakers. Unfortunately, given the number of people, we had to stick to one language, but on 5 October, we are making up for it by having a webinar exclusively for our English-speaking students. If you are enrolled, you will receive an email with the link.

Here is some practical information about the ongoing session and answers to questions that are frequently asked:

What are the session dates?

The session is open from 12 September to 11 December 2022. Regisrations close 29 November 2022.

Where do I find the classes? And how do I catch up?

All courses take place online in the form of pre-recorded videos. There are no specific hours you have to log in at, every learner can follow the course at his own pace. We don’t send you videos or PDFs, there is no live class, simply log into your account and start learning.

Can I enrol in more than one MOOC?

Of course. Once you are logged in to your mooc-conservation.org account, click on “Explore courses” and enrol in the MOOCs you are interested in.

Do we get a certificate?

Each MOOC has a couple of exams and you need to obtain an average score equal or above 75% to be able to download you attestation of success. At the end of a session, we reset the exams, so your attestation will disappear. Make sure you download it!

To conclude, yes, the MOOCs are free, you can reset your password and all courses are available in both French an English. Enjoy your MOOC!
